so is giving them my money !!!

duh...these people have already done that !!!

    as a matter of fact...yes..we...do

you're a little naive about internet forums...
you're going to read both + and - material in a forum...any forum, period.
this NI forum - like a lot on the web - is controlled by a company, which means it's very limited. the moderators will squelch or censor stuff.

rsarja2005, IF YOU DO NOT LIKE WHAT YOU'RE READING (negative input about NI's support, etc.)...THEN LEAVE

Thanks to Stef the Cat for showing some support, and dare I say, common sense; a software forum (any software forum), seems largely to exist to offer a meeting point with which to exchange friendly banter and camaraderie - in other words, to fix each others problems when the regular methods of contact are un-contactable, on holiday, (eating pizza) etc. :)

Whereas a general music forum, where people meet who's computers are working, perhaps reside elsewhere.

But let's not fall out over anything, life is too short and rsarja was probably fed up with reading such negativity (so was I!).

If I may, I'd just like to happily report that both Battery 2 and Battery 3 have now been 'released' to me - however, I did go to the extent of fitting a wireless network in my home to achieve it.

I could not get the offline registration to work, and I do feel extremely empathetic with those people still struggling with it.

    Thanks! Marius,
and thank you kindly for returning my message (sent via e-mail).

As written above, I have now managed to facilitate the magic button so I'm registered back again.

Without sounding ungrateful, would it be an idea to address the offline support mechanism as it really does appear to be irreparably knackered (even after updating).
