This will be extremley helpful because you can write comments
On cue points like "start phaser effect" without having to actully hit the cue point
This would be extremeley helpful to have better prepared sets

Maybe not exactly like Scloud but I was just thinking cue etc names are basically useless once the track is started, no? Some way to see them would be great

Similar requests have been posted before.
I think it would be handy to be able to see what a cue point is named, not like soundcloud but something similar. Maybe by hovering over the cue point number in the advanced player rather than on the waveform.

Absolutely Akrlos. At present as far as I can see once the track is playing the cue names are near useless, and even if you check before playing you have to remember them.

I think this is what I was about to post about. I'd like to be able to load a track, and if I've pre-planned to play the second half of it, and I have a cue marker positioned halfway thru, I'd like the option to put a comment instead of just having a number, comment being like "StartHere" or something.

The option to leave it as a number like it is now would of course still be intact. Cheers

This...As I am setting up cue points, I realize there is no way of know what the cue point is without actually hitting the cue. So at that point, the only way to get any info on a cue point other than its position in the track is to load the track into another deck then hit the cue on that deck...this is a PITA and also not always possible. I like the idea of being able to turn on "show cue name when hovering" So as you hover over a cue point, a pop up box shows the cue name. This is already possible, because it does it when you have "show tool tips" checked.

Additionally, being able to change the cue point colors like you can with Serato and the Remix Decks would be awesome as well. Also pushing those colors out to RGB pads would just be over the top.

Don't know if this is new or I just realised but there is a drop-down menu to the left of the cue marker type that shows the names of cue markers (defaults to n:n:). Drop this down and it shows any names assigned to cue points. Kinda nervous doing this while tracks are playing but seems to work so far. Still think there must be a better way though.

As you set cue points, type a description of what it is for (32 beat break, delay-frz fx, or whatever) and later when the track is loaded before (or even during play) use the drop down menu in the deck window cue section to check what the cue is for, but obviously don't click on the description as that activates the cue point! It's a little inaccurate as it shows the beatgrid cue marker in the order you set it (even if you remap to CP 8 or something, it still shows the original CP position) so this means any CP set after the beatgrid will be wrongly numbered but if you take this into account, you should be able to quickly work out what each CP is.

    It would be better if

    - the drop down menu opened by hovering over the menu and not clicking on it, as this can lead to mistakes by accidentally clicking a CP. Better still would be an ability to activate this via midi to a keyboard.
    - the beatgrid was not shown as a CP, or appeared in the CP list in it's mapped position, or the option to not display it as a CP actually did that in the drop down menu and not just on the track stripe.

anthor good way of know what your cue points is (what i do)... is to use the deck heads for example organize ya deck info 2 show a feild your not using like comment 2 or remixer .. then type in a code or info for ya cue points that way when u load a track u know instantly what ya cue ponts are
