Having problem with my speakers while using a michrophone on KOMPLETE 2

Hey Guys,

It's been a while now that I am having this issue, and I thought it should be like this - but I understood I was wrong.

I connected my condenser microphone to my interface, KOMPLETE 2 and turned on the 48V in order to use it and be able to be heard.

However, 2 issues:

1. the sensitivity is very low, even though its maximized on my computer.
I have to turn on the GAIN all the way up in order for people to hear me.

2. After turning the GAIN all the way up, I hear myself (on speakers and on headphones if I am using it).

Can some one tell me what is the problem?

I have Windows 10 system.

Maybe something wrong with 48v phantom power. Have you tried a different cable or did you tried the mic with a different interface.

No, I am using an XLR cable, and my microphone is Behringer C-1.
I don't have a different mic

 

Have you any mesuring equipment a simple multimeter, to test the xlr cable? I had sometimes cables that I have to soldier myself even a soldiering station i had to repair as it was new cause a cable had not perfect contact.
