Headphones for cuing

    I just wanna know can I use headphones for cuing if I got AC97 sound card integrated with Gigabyte mainboard? :p
    I can install CMI8738/C3dX PCI Audio Device too. Will that help somehow? Can someone describe me that please?

    If it's a multichannel soundcard (as most are for the last few years) that will do surround sound 5.1 or more, it will work.

    You just need to set your soundcard with its utility program so it's in a multichannel mode such as "quad channel" or something like that. Front channel L/R goes to your speakers, rear channel L/R goes to headphones, or vice-versa.

    Then go into the Traktor audio setup and fiddle with it so you have the Traktor outputs going to the appropriate speaker channels. That can take a bit of playing around.
