    Hey guys,

Is any headphone splitter is gonna work as a real stereo splitter with this product?
    http://www.algoriddim.com/hardware/dj-cable

"Not just another splitter cable, the Griffin DJ Cable is wired to enable the Split Output function in djay, and simultaneously hear both what the PA is playing and the track you are cueing up"

Otherwise you have to buy the traktor rig and this iPad app loses a bit his interest.

whats the difference between this and other generic normal splitter cables, do they not all split a stereo signal into 2 mono, 1 mono for the master output and the other mono for the headphones? or what is different with this griffin dj one?

is a traktor audio 6 and 10 the only options to keep the master output stereo?

Is a firmware update the only thing stopping a traktor audio 2 from working aswell?

I have tried another cable which was rubbish. All i know is that the Griffin works and is a good quality cable.

The Audio 2 cannot be used by TDJ because it is not Class Compliant and it's chip cannot be upgraded like the A6/10 can.

    Question:

Does it provide both left and right channels through 1 mono output channel?

    Does that make sense?

So you still get both left and right coming out of both speakers?

nice, but did you know that you never have a real stereo output on the master!
with one onboard stereo soundcard, you never can made 2 stereooutputs!
so the griffin cable is crap....:)

Yeah I am fully aware of how the Griffin works.

The Griffin cable isn't crap because it does exactly what it says it does. Its dual mono.
It sends the master down the Left channel and the headphone signal down the right.

    It sounds fine.

If you want 2 real stereo channels then you need a soundcard.

Talk about stating the obvious dude;)

Another vote for the Griffon, been using it all night and no issues at all. Nice for when I don't want to bring the TA6 with me.
