What are peoples thoughts on headphones....ie best brands.
What about Sennheiser?
sony 700s have a ton of support, and the deno 700s, i know some folks like to match and i see u have denon already
and both are on the affordable side, near 100$
Thx, ill have a look for the denons although matching is not so important to me and ive seen some nice Sennheiser HD 212's that look ok at the right price, just wanted to know peoples thoughts on that brand too
i see them for sale, but i see lots of them used for studio work.
check the reviews on guitar center
are there really any other headphones than hd25's?
HD-25's have been worth their weight in gold!
i got a custom pair of crooks and castles i picked up for $80 and they kick ass.
personally i would just go and check out a few put em on a try them before you buy, dont let a dollar value fool you, because there more expensive doesnt mean there better.
i got me the HDJ-2000 from Pioneer. I checked all headphones (Sennheiser, Sony, HDJ-500 -1000, AIAIAI, Technics) before i bought the pioneer but NO ONE was sounding like the HDJ-2000. Its also the most expensive DJ headphone, but when you listening to all headphones on the market, and then to the HDJ-2000, you will have this headphone! you can t compare the sound of it to any dj headphone on the market. Really!
good gosh, look at the prices on those ones you guys are posting
This might help:
A recent discussion of Headphones here http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/showthread.php?t=155189
I've also heard great things about the the HDJ-2000, However, I'm stil an ameteur DJ and my current headphones represent this!
Aiaiai TMA-1 are pretty damn good
and world doesn't end on HD25
Sony VDJ-700 for me. I tried the Technics RP-DH1200, good sound but not as comfortable.
In fact all my headphones/earphones are from Sony.
Need help here too. I'm not sure whether to get the SennHeiser HD 25 II or the Allen & Heath Xone XD-53
I ordered the HD 25s but the XD-53 seems to be good too.
Damn it! Why make it so hard to choose!
The HDJ-2000's are nice. They are made of magnesium alloy thus likely to last and are light weight. They have a replaceable cord. They're way expensive. $350
I have the XD-53's. They have the largest driver on the market. The pivot points are plastic so they may not last as long and the cord isn't replaceable. $159 (DJDEALS.com, remember Guitar Center will price match). I like mine although I don't find them to be extremely comfortable.
No one's mentioned Reloop. The RHP-10 is nice, they sound good, are only $80, and for you fashion whores, they come in multiple colors. The RHP-20 are metal, cost $140, and I thought they sounded great.
Comfort, durability, sound quality, price.
You get three of those options
Hmmm after watching this video I'm staying away from Pioneer headphones.
