Help for traktor pro and numark mixdeck

Hello guys, I have recently received traktor pro in the mail, and tried using it. I thought it would be easy to use just like "Le", but apparently its not. I have been able to finally get the two track knobs to work, and still need help to get the leds around the platter to light up. I have no clue how to make the leds light up. If anyone also knows how to get the deck header, like the bpm, time,etc. to show up, that would be great. I have been trying and searching all over for the Deck header to appear on my midi controller, and the leds around the platter to light up. Thank You!

 

You should probably post what kind of controller it is that you have that way people that are knowledgable about mappings can help you out with that.

I'll have to keep a tab on this thread because once I imported my mapping for my vms4 some of the LED's dont work.

 

Its a midi controller, Numark MixDeck Le.

 

I have a Numark controller, an OmniControl.

You could try to re-run the setup wizard from Traktor preferences and select your controller from the available dropdown menus.

The wizard is a button in the bottom left of the preferences menu inside traktor.

Older versions of traktor usually need a tsi file you can get from Numark to help with mapping. Also there appears to be a firmware upgrade for the Mixdeck

 

hi. all new to the forum so still trying to figure out whats what. i had the exact same problem as yourself and i was determined to get my mixtrack pro working with traktor pro so i made my own .tsi ....hopefully it has attached to this. there are a few things i couldnt get working but i am close to having it completed.
