Help help help

I have just purchased a Spektral delay for Mac os 9, how do i upgrade it so i can use it in os x.

i want to run it as an AU in Logic pro 7.

Any tips for using it?

what are good sounds to run through it? i have had a little play and find it works nicely with precussion sounds. But am finding setting up the paramiters a little confusing.

You're very welcome. Glad to be able to help in this criminally underutilized section of the NI forums. I sometimes wonder if I'm the only person using this piece of software or if everyone else using it is afraid of other people finding out about it.

I have no tips for using it as I find it a bit confusing myself and use it as an all-purpose magic filter that makes everything that goes through it come out sounding absolutely beautiful. I have rarely used it for percussion and find it great for softening the hard edges of some of the more harsh 'electronic' sounds I favor working with.

I'm using it in Logic 6.4, by the way, and it does take a noticeable bite out of the cpu when I'm using it with Reaktor or Absynth. Well worth it, though.

yeah im using it with Logic &, these NI AU plugins kill the cpu, and my poor little powerbook is ramed to capacity. thinking of upgrading to a dual G5
