    Hi

I managed to export a playlist by right clicking and selecting export "playlist". I'm now trying to import that playlist but there is no option to do so! There is only "create playlist" or "create folder"

Anybody know whats going on here?

    Thanks

Ok, could it be that I'm using an educational version of TSP - I work in a university. I have a demo version of Traktor installed an I can import playlists on this computer with no problems - is there something missing in the educational version?

    cheers

Dude, ive deleted the other thread. One thread for each issue please.

You seem to be missing certain functions. Can you take a screen shot of the section that is flawed.

    You should see this:

You should update the the latest Version first. I dont remember this being a problem in earlier versions but you should have the most recent version installed anyway.

You can use Service Centre that should have been installed with Traktor.
Or you can login to the Support Section on the Website and use the Personal Update Manager. That will list the products you are entitled to update and will show the Installer download.

That has solved the problem, I am now running v 1.1.2.004
I also changed the default location in the file management, one or both of these changes has sorted it and I can now import my playlists.
I'm not sure which factor has done this as I changed them at the same time(sorry). I can tell you that after these changes, I started TS and I was presented with a message saying that my collection was not in the correct format and that it had been adjusted for me.

    Hope this help others

    Thanks all!

Yeah thats normal. The change in version changes the Collection Format.

    Glad its sorted.

IIRC it's indeed not been implemented in the very first release. but at the time the CDs with traktor pro 1.0 hit the streets there was already an update available...
