help me to find a workaround for quantizised/sync start

I want to kick in a track at a cue point, 100% synchronized to the master and the start have to be quantisized (right on the "1." from the master). Like starting a clip in Ableton.

In t3 it wasn't a problem, just toggle sync before you hit play and there you go. In TP I can't find a way to do a quantizised and synchronized start without crackling/bubble noises.

- activate sync, set a CUE at a beat
- press start, try this a couple of times

I often get crackling/bubble noises direct at the start (yeah I never get crackles due to latency in TP, it has to be something else and I think it's in the code)

I need:
1. a clean start without pops/noise/clicks!
2. possibility to start quantizised like firing a clip in ableton or hitting a CUE point with quantizised On in TP.

I really tried different things, but I can't archive this. It's a real basic thing for me, so if you know a workaround please let me know.

J.R. i get this almost always on the first beat of a track then its fine afterwards. Its very annoying.

You may be aware that there is a lot of talk about Key Lock causing this so as i dont see Chilly around at the moment ill repeat his advice:

Turn off key lock. Test again. Post results

Im 100% convinced also that Key Lock is the problem. My results are conclusive, no pop without key lock.

yep, have this problem too with keylock off (I looked at the video to verify).

i have set a macro to activate hot cues with sync same time
and its working

i fire hot cues synced with quantized on

key is to set hot cues to same drum hit on all mp3s

if you set up wrong it will be out of phase

 

mutley, can you describe it a bit more? because it doesn't seems to be a solution for me at the moment.

hot cues work great but not for this. I don't want to set up a hot cue every time I want to start a track in. I don't start at the same position every time a I play a track.

and it don't have this cout in feeling like in T3 or ableton.
