    Hi All

Having issues with a new MC6000mk2. I contacted Denon support but they were VERY UN-HELPFUL.

Trying to use a New MC6000mk2 with Traktor. I know mapping is probably the issue, but I am confused by the way the 6000 is responding. I have loaded the Traktor mapping from Denon, and the 6000 will now control Traktor (Play/Cue/Load etc. working). However, I have one major problem.

Deck A - Plays straight through to the Master output. Master volume does work, but there is no control with channel 1 fade (PC Input is selected)

Deck B - Denon 6000 shows signal input in channel 2 (LEDs respond to deck being played/stopped), but will not play through to Master Output. I have checked this is NOT a XFade issue.

    Traktor Settings:-

    External Mixer
    2 Deck Set-up
Denon Asio loaded and selected in Traktor
    Deck A output - Denon Ch 1&2
    Deck B output - Denon Ch 3&4

    Anyone have any Ideas?

    Derek

    Another piece of the puzzle.
The Cue buttons don’t work, but channel 2 is routed straight through to the headphones!!!!

All for Line Inputs function correctly, so I can use a Audio DJ2 plugged into the line inputs. It appears as if all functions work correctly, except the way sound is routed from the PC Inputs.
Channel 1 directly to Master Output (Traktor output Deck A set to Denon Ch 1&2)
Channel 2 directly to headphone Output (Traktor output Deck b set to Denon Ch 3&4)

Thanks Erik, I had not found that page.

I did try using “Internal Mixer” as a setting, and the channel 1 and 2 faders worked correctly. However, once I selected the outputs for “Main” (Loud Speaker 1 and 2) I was unable to select anything for the Cue Outputs. So, while the channel faders worked there was no cue feature available.

It was much earlier that I tried that set-up, so I will test it again, but I believe my comments above are correct.

Thanks again I really appreciate any input.

HI THERE! I have an issue with my Stanton djc-4 controller and I really need some help. my controller is loading in tractor (sometimes) but does not show the high definition left and right audio outputs in 'output routing'. It is really frustrating me now and because NI do not have a very good customer service and it's all down to forums I really wanna do a set. SO, can someone please tell me how to fix this issue please it is a massive bug. I love the NI layout and software but it is just simply far too buggy for me to even want to use it anymore if I can't get help.

PROBLEM SOLVED. Thanks to Denon support.

I have a call with Denon Tech Support today and we now have the MC6000mk2 playing with Traktor. I am not sure exactly what the fix was (we made a number of changes), but I have listed the current setting below.

Firstly, like many have advised here, and in other forums the Mix Mode needs to be set to Internal. Which seem to be wrong because the mixing will actually be done outside Traktor, but “Internal” is correct.

I believe the problem was the In-Port/Out-Port settings in Traktor’s Controller Manager screen. I had not selected “Denon DJ Controller Midi” for either. When I first made the correction, it did not help. But after re-importing the Denon Mapping and re-starting Traktor, the MC6000 functioned correctly.

One notes, I do have to “Initiate” the controller by pushing the channel 1 & 2 channel faders up and down once. Before doing this, the decks play straight through to the main output, no matter where the channel faders are.

Thanks to everyone for their input and to Jahmar at Denon support for his time and effort.

Yes like a dream. And I really like Traktor Pro 3, it functions just as well as Pro2 (if not better), and looks "fresher"

Yes I used the Denon Mapping. (file name - MC6000mk2_MAP_V1000_TKP_Denon_2013.11.11 Out 3)

I did need to contact Denon Support to make it work, but I have included all the setting earlier in this thread. One thing I originally got wrong was the Mix Mode in Traktor settings.

Mix Mode needs to be set to "Internal". Which seem to be wrong because the mixing will actually be done outside Traktor, but “Internal” is correct.

The Mapping is not perfect, and some functions do not work. However, as a wedding/event DJ, all the necessary functions work perfectly.

Feel Free to contact me if you need any help. I don't claim to be an expert, but I do have Traktor 3 working 3 or 4 times a week on the Denon MC600Mk2 and I am happy to help.
