Hi,is there a way to be able to run Youtube at the same time as having Guitar Rig on? A rocksmith cable was plugged into Guitar Rig and worked fine however when attempting to run any other Audio programmes it doesnt work unless i turn off GR.

Is there a workaround for this or do i need to buy a certain piece of hardware to get this to work?

    Thanks

OK. Disable the Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device option for all Playback & Recording Devices in the Windows Sound Control Panel: https://help.uaudio.com/hc/en-us/ar...e-Exclusive-Mode-in-Windows-Sound-Preferences

In case this might not be enough, try using WASAPI (shared mode) as Driver in Guitar Rig's Audio Settings in addition.

Otherwise you can also have a look at using Voicemeeter for mixing audio from different applications: https://www.vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/index.htm

Nothing working for me guys...im using the Rocksmith cable and i can only hear this and no other audio....So i cant listen to youtube and play guitar at same time (learning guitar solos).

Is there anything else i can try? If not, what piece of hardware can i buy that will allow me to do this?

Can you please post more details and/or screenshots of the current settings in the Audio and Routing Tabs in Guitar Rig?

    And in addition:
    • What Windows version, exactly?
    • Which web browser are you using for youtube?
    • What are you using for listening: speakers or headphones? And where are they connected to?

In general, any decent audio interface with a HI-Z instrument Input (for connecting guitars), Outputs for connecting headphones/speakers and a dedicated ASIO driver (which is not the same as ASIO4ALL!!) should work.
