Hello - please forgive my technical ignorance with Reaktor. I am currently using 5.7.0 in x64 on win 7 x64.

The problem I am having is that when I use Reaktor as a soft synth within Sonar (X2 - also happened in 8.5.3), using the Steam synth on the Pan flute sound (preset 02), it plays fine, like playing along with other recorded tracks in the Sonar project, but when I hit the stop button in Sonar then and then on the pitch in Reaktor has dropped a full 2 steps - 1 whole note.

I am not changing any parameters when this happens. I do have a check box within Sonar that zeroes all controllers at project stop, but I don't know what within that patch in Reaktor would be connected to changing pitch.

Can someone please enlighten me on this?

    Thanks! :)

I went back into Sonar and compared all of the preset knobs and settings for the Steam synth Pan preset (02), from before the pitch changed to after it changed, and every single settings value shows the same before and after.

It does seem to occur only if I stop play in Sonar while the reverb/echo sound has not finished sounding, but I do not know what controls that where it would change due to the Sonar check box telling it to play tail effects at stop - which I think is somehow the culprit.

I hope this helps someone understand what is causing this for me.

    Thanks again,

Well, I figured it out. In Sonar, there is an edit prerference setting that by default is set to zero out all controllers and such on project stop. I un-checked the box and have not had this problem since. Note - this setting is at the project level, so must be set for any new project where you want to do this, OR you have to edit the project template (Normal) to set it and save it.
