Help! Updated to Maschine 1.8.2/ crash

I need help. i use Digital Performer 7.24/ OSX 10.6.8/ macbook pro.

Today I updated to maschine 1.8.2 and now any project that had Maschine running in the DP file will not open. I get the spinning ball of death. How can I uninstall the latest 1.8.2 update and go back to the previous version. ?

Help, I have a session tomorrow and can't open the project up.

Anyone with suggestions please help

You can simply run the 1.81 installer to revert if needed. But first, make sure you run Maschine stand alone first before trying to open in yhour DAW

 

I'm having the same problem dude. I'm also running 10.6.8. I'm thinking it's something with the software.

 

Yes it must be a software problem. I re installed v 1.81 and opened it up standalone once before running in DAW. That worked and I can at least open previous sessions.

 

Did you open it stand alone first when you had installed 1.82? Did one of you happen to move the Maschine application or vst files after instal? This would apply to the previous install as well. Did you move any of the Komplete instruments from their install location?

1.81 Works

I just re-installed v 1.81; opened it once in Stand alone mode; then opened up my DAW and launched Maschine. Everything worked as it did before without a hitch.

That's not what I asked.

Of course 1.81 works. 1.82 works too if installed properly ulness you had previously moved Maschine program files. 1.82 won't respond well to that.

 

+1 ... do this after applying the update and you should be good to go.

Yes. When I installed v 1.82 I did launch it in standalone mode first. Everything worked.

Secondly, I then opened it up in DAW. It launched okay and worked fine if I was opening or starting a New Project only.

The problem was when I tried to open a previous project that was made using v 1.81

So, I did nothing except re-installed 1.81 and everything works again. No problems. (BTW: After re-installing V 1.81 I also started it in stand alone mode first before launching in DAW)

I'll reinstall it (v 1.82) again after I'm done with this project in a few more days and report back.

Okay, thanks for clarifying. So it was a project recall issue. Hope it is resolved when you try again.

 

I did the reinstall of maschine and it worked. I updated to v1.81 and it crashed again. This is ridiculous.
