Help using Maschine as external fx for traktor

I'm having trouble using maschine as external fx. I'll try to explain my set up
as best as I can as I think it may just be a noob signal routing issue.

My set up uses an external mixer (analog w/ effects loop), win 7 laptop with
traktor scratch pro 2.
I use one A10, Maschine has already been synced to Traktor's master clock
using instructions from DJ Endo's youtube video.

I'm currently using channels A & B for my turntables going into A10, outs going
back into the mixer's respective channel.

Input & Output in Traktor for Channel A & B is set as A & B left and right.

Currently, the in & out routing is the same in maschine. A & B is activated.

The only way I can use the external fx using this set up is to put my channel A
on live input. Even though I can switch the inputs around in Maschine, it only
works with Live input on channel A.

Since changing the inputs in maschine doesn't seem to work, I was thinking of
using the effects loop so I can use the fx on my main outputs instead of being
limited to one channel.

Is anyone using Maschine as external fx for traktor? If so, could you be so kind
to shed light on how I should change my routings? Thanks in advance.

I'm able to use maschine as external fx now.
I needed to change the output routing in the
fx module to the proper output to hear it.
Still, I'm limited to using this set up with live
input only. If I use it with timecoded vinyl,
I get a loud whine constantly. I can only get
it to work with scratch by hooking up the
maschine through my fx loop in my mixer.
