HELP!... .WAV FILE WONT PLAY IN MY MASCHINE!

OK..so i used my windows laptop to chop up a sample on cool edit,saved it as a .wav file. send it to my mac(which my maschine is hooked up to) drag the file into where it says "sound1,sound 2 etc." so i can start chopping on the maschine...only problem is the files are not playing!! what went wrong?? ..i have other .wav samples that i have transferred over and they played just fine. im confused..help please

 

Is it showing up in the sampler editor?

 

It shows up on the mac screen but as far as the sampler, no it doesn't show up. I'm thinking maybe I might have to do my choppin on fl studio and convert on there, then send into maschine. It seemed to work that way with my previous wav files.

have you used the right settings 16 Bit 44100 Hz and so on, maybe try different ones
and wave is not wave there are different ones if you export your samples with cool edit
you can choose from a list look if there are other wave´s

Yea you're right I'm gonna try and switch up the settings because they automatically get set to 16bit 44100 hz when I save them. That may work. I'll keep u posted, thanks !
