I've recently got into DJing and I'm trying to set up some gear so I can start mixing.

my setup is a "numark mixtrack pro" controller and headphones with traktor 2 pro.

SO MY QUESTION IS: How do you route audio settings properly for traktor pro 2 so i can play my music through my speakers and my cue through headphones?

I also have the asio4all v2 driver but I still can't get it to work or must be doing something wrong! Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Tell me about it man, I've literally tried everything regards to alternating with each soundcard and different channels, and looked up everything on the internet for about 8 hours straight yesterday, and still nothing! They sell the software WITH the mixtrack pro so it must be a solution!

    HELP

Hmm. This could be bad news for me. I've been looking at the MTPro and would hate to have config challenges.

Are you using a Mac or a PC?

I will put together a tutorial on this and post it very soon, this could take a while cause of the different parameters each of you are using. But for the mean time go to google and type in Jack audio and download the free program.

You know, they have a lovely document on Numark's web site explaining how to configure the Mixtrack Pro with Traktor:

    http://www.numark.com/content269066.html

(enter anything in the required fields and click Submit)

Okay downloaded the Jack Audio Connection Kit? If that's the wrong thing, could you leave a download link?

Right I've followed that tutorial exactly, and still nothing. All I get is sound through my headphones now, and nothing through speakers. I have speakers which connect to the speaker socket in the laptop, rather than USB speakers.. would that make a difference? Literally I don't know what else I could try! :(

Aye bro got mine working, i went to ASIO and edited RealTek HD, expand it and disable RealTek HDA Primary output so i only have 1 highlighted which is the audio line input. Keep the MixTrack Pro enable.... hope it helps aye.. cheers

As the document indicate, in ASIO4all, you enable the USB AUDIO DEVICE (the Mixtrack integrated soundcard).

Then, you tell Traktor to use ASIO4all.

Why would it send the audio signal to your computer's soundcard?

The speakers must be connected to the back of the Mixtrack Pro if you want to follow the logic...
