help with advice on how to connect up Rig Controller 2 please..

    Hi,

    It's been ages since i used the GRController 2.
    but i have some new gear that i want to use it with
    so i'm dusting it off...

    Can someone pls advise?

    I need the setup for my home studio.

    I have the GRC2, a small valve amp head,
    an RME BabyFace audio interface, a pair of monitors, an iMac, and Ableton Live as my DAW.

    I don't want to use the GRC2 as the audio interface,
    as the RME is the best.

    How do i go about setting up the GRC2 , and the valve amp, the RME?

    what i'm picturing is: guitar > valve amp head input > amp line-out > RME guitar input.
    RME USB > iMac, and GRC2 USB> iMac.

    From there i want to use Ableton and GR5 to get cabs, effects, etc. and listen through my monitors/headphones.

    From there i also want to use the GRC2 to control GR5 in Ableton.

    Should that all just work as described above, or do i need to set it up otherwise?

    Should work as decribed. Rember to hit the "Connect" button in GR5 in the top Left corner of the Rig Kontrol Setup interface. When you open in a DAW the Rig Kontrol is NOT connected by default.
