Hello everyone. I usually pitch up my sample but this time i have a short bass stab that I want to loop so it sounds like it's being held down. How do I do this with the crossfade? I don't even know how to make something loop.

use a loop point in sample edit, make sure you try to get a zero sample start and end point, use the crossfade to blend it in a bit more if the loop has a click etc.

trail and error till you get it right.

    hit sampling then press edit

press > to go onto page 2 loop mode

select a start and end point

load up say a sound in the database and look how its set up,

Well It's the #6th split that I took from a 16 split sample so will it still work?

i would suggest truncating the sample so you just have that section re-saving it and then loop that bit.

I don't know what it is. It just doesn't loop. I press and hold down the pad but it only goes through once.

Loop is weird. Even if your start/end points are set on your sample, the loop points may NOT be set right at all.... make sure they're set to the same start/end points as your main markers.

It works, if you set the sample to ADSR and not "oneshot" - crank up the release time to 100% after setting to ADSR
