I need help with my setting up my setup...
Currently I have only a Behringer Ddm 4000 which we all know does not have a soundcard and im looking into getting the Denon Dn HS5500 based on your help.
My question is if i can use the soundcard inside of the Hs5500 instead of buying an external soundcard while also connecting it to Traktor Pro or any program such as VDJ which i dont want to use...

I would also want to know if its worth getting the HS5500?
    Thanks

    first of all:

what would you like to do?
what would you like to reach?

there are many better options as the denon, depending on your goal.
I would say: the most other options will be better, as the denon is real old stuff and the soundcard is also not state of art...

by the way: I have the ddm4000 as spare unti and can tell you: the midi sucks. so if the midi function is a part of your plan.....;)

Well id like to know if i can use the soundcard of the Denon Dn HS5500 or the Denon Dn s3700 because i know that the Behringer ddm 4000 does not have a soundcard and i want a setup that does not need an extra external soundcard to work with my Laptop if that makes sense :D

Also the main reason why i want the Denon's is because of the motor driven platter, what other options are you thinking of with a motor driven platter that also has a usb midi?
    Thanks

The 3700 is better than the 5500, no question.
but as far as I know the motor platter will not work in midi mode.
I have none, so I can't proof or test it.

The platter won't spin in midi mode HOWEVER in hybrid midi mode both the platter will spin and the midi will work. But to use hybrid midi mode you will need either a NI soundcard or a NI certified mixer.
