I've been using Maschine standalone for the 1st month, and kinda understand how it works now.

Decided to try it in FL Studio. I just don't get what you are supposed to do w. Maschine as a vst. Can any direct me to some basics on using Maschine as a vst in a DAW (specifically FL Studio if possible).

I have figured out how to drag and drop audio, although often the audio file is longer than the pattern. I've also seen some stuff about routing tracks from Maschine to the daw, but haven't figured this out yet. I feel kinda stupid, but I really haven't found much in the manual, this forum, or in the way of videos. Thanks for the help.

Unless you give me one your spare daw's, that's what I got right now. I wasn't necessarily looking for FL Studio specific help. Just trying to wrap my head around the concept and techniques.

Ok, but as far spares, that might be true because I use maschine in standalone, so as far as using it as a plugin in a DAW, I dn't knw. And,,,,, Im just a FL hater forever, (even tho I did use it to make a few beats b4) so wasn't nothin against u personally.

LOL I luv how people hate on the tools because somebody THEY know made wack music with it.. Dont Blame the tools.. Soulja Boy would still sound like soulja boy if he used a MPC & a Motif over FL/Reason.. If you put Dr.Dre in front of FL Studio, he would still sound like Dr. Dre.. Think about it, how many wack songs can u name before FL Studio/Reason? Wayyy too many.. Dont hate the game, hate the wack players my brotha.. Peace-Eazy

why not use FL as a plugin inside Maschine? this is possible.

if loops are too long is FL running at a different sample rate (44.1, 48 etc)? i know this may sound daft but i did it in cubase when learning maschine - check the rate its using and then check FL - match them up that should fix that problem.

so far as use as a plugin is concerned, the maschine when in pluigin mode is still the same, program the patterns and drag or just run it alongside what you already have created. Try not to think of it as anything different than the samplers in FL, just more in depth.
