Help with what to buy!

    hi guys im looking in to getting some cdj-400's or maybe the Xone controlers to use along with my external mixer, i could do with some advice as to if you need an audio 8 with the cdjs and what you think is the best option for me. cheers

    The CDJ's can be plugged in to the PC with USB so as far as I know you don't need the A-8 to use them.

    But hey I'm pretty much a newbie too.

    You can use the Midi control of the CDJ 400 to control traktor without an audio 8 but I dunno how well it works or how to set it up or whatever. Have a search on here as I'm sure there's a few peeps with them.

    You will need the audio 8 and traktor scratch (pro or standard) if you want to use the control CD in the CDJ 400 and use it to control traktor this way. Hope this makes sense.
