    Hi!
I have a couple of problems with Dj Console MK2 and Traktor 3. I run it on a MacBook and the main problem is that I can't get a pre listening signal of each deck seperated. If i choose deck A on the headphone control i will only get a signal on the headphones if the cross fader is on deck A etc. so basically what i hera on my headphones is the same as the master output, which is pretty useless...is there a way to solve this problem? the midi file seemed to be correct.
Another problem is that there is quite some background noise, i was thinking of latency issues, but none of the settings i tried worked.
    please help me out!
    thanks

Hi, this sounds like a possible problem with the firmware version of the dj console. Certain models in the range have similar problems but there is an update. What is the serial number of the hercules dj console so i can check if it is one of the affected models?

    Hello Desiato,

    1) Do you use
    - Hercules DJ Console Mk2 last drivers (1.77) http://ts.hercules.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=2&fid=28&pid=200&cid=1 ?
    - Traktor 3.4.1 DJ Studio or Traktor 3 LE?

    2) Have you set the sound in Traktor as described in the pdf file included in ftp://ftp.hercules.com/sound/TDJS/current/T3_DJ_MK2.zip?

    3) Regarding the background noise
    - can you check if you get the same background noise whether the MacBook runs on its battery or plugged in the wall power outlet?
    - if Traktor plays sound on both the Mac integrated sound card and the Mk2, make sure you set the Mac integrated sound card on 44.1KHz, otherwhise you will have a noisy sound if Traktor tries to synchronize a 48KHz Mac sound card with a 44.1KHz DJ Console Mk2.
