    Hi NI Community,

Longtime user of Traktor with different controllers, currently using S4 mk3 as my main deck with Macbook OS 11.6, works perfectly and I love it.

Troubleshooting new Hercules Starlight controller for battery operated DJ action; works pretty well with midi map .tsi supplied from Hercules support page and a few output adjustments.

Deck A is functioning normally; Deck B is functioning similarly BUT the Play/Pause button has an unwanted dual function: besides playing or stopping the track it also tries to simultaneously load whatever track is selected in the browser into Deck B, as if I had pressed a [Ctrl - right arrow] hotkey.

I have tried to locate this "load selected to Deck B" (or something similar) function in Traktor's controller manager for the Starlight to disable it but after many attempts and experiments I am having no luck finding out how it is mapped and how to get rid of it.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might disable this seemingly random and troubling dual mapping function for the Starlight Deck B Play/Pause button?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

This function is not implemented in the DJStarlight mapping but in the default keyboard mapping loaded by Traktor:

As you can see, [Ctrl - Left arrow] will do the same thing on Deck A. I guess you just never happened to use this combo before :)

Check the in/out ports of your mappings.

The in/out ports for the mapping should be set to your controller. Then set other mappings in/out ports to none.
