Man.. what a disappointment! Well at least its 79 dollars saved.

At least we can keep the samples as we switch from track decks to sample decks! I am sorry, but don't look at this the wrong way.. I am unimpressed.

Do you know what? I can't imagine why anyone would want to use 4 decks with samples. There's no way 4 songs go together unless you're looping in which case bang the loop in the sample deck.

You might want to get Live then. It sounds like you need lots and lots of things playing.

    Keyword: (drops)

I wanted the 4 decks + sampler so I can use DROPS. Ex. Horns , lasers, and whatnot. I'm not an idiot, if i have 4 decks, why would I need a sampler for additional beats? I just thought it would be nice to use sound effects, and not sacrifice 2 decks, because that's the way I DJ.

You don't have to sacrifice 2. You can change 1 to a sample deck, drop your Vuvuzuela or whatever, then change it back.

True, but on the demo as I switch through the track-sample decks, the samples do not stay. I would have to keep 'reuploading' them onto the sample deck.

yea the sample decks are a joke, i surely wasted 80 bucks. you cant even mass load, who the heck wants to load each one individually during a live set? it has all these nice ways of loading the samplers from the loop recorder and deck but thats so trivial, it seems so obvious to make the samplers more time efficient. NI must have been smokin white rocks... someone please prove me wrong and make me look stupid, it would make my day/week/year

    @RADub

I agree with you. But I think you should have tried the demo before you used 80 bucks, because thats what I did, and it saved me 80 bucks.

Yeah it will be nice to use samples, but they did a horrendous job in incorporating this feature into already established DJ strategies/techniques.

I hope someone can make me look like an idiot too, because the thesis here is that T2 is overrated. Maybe not TSP2, but T2 itself.

@iKalando you are partially correct, i prob should have tested it out first but im pretty sure all samplers have that feature of group loading. I thought it would be an obvious implementation, i guess im stupid to think NI has any sampler experience *cough*maschine*cough*. but i guess not lol

so it looks like my only option is to have 8/buttons or pads be individual loads for use of 2 sampler decks. have a favorite for diff things like kick, snare, etc...still slow and a waste of pads/buttons....but i guess its my only option at this point if i want it use them.

how long would u think it would take them to implement this, could it be never? :(

you can use your old setup (mac only)on T1 and run on same time T2 "use line in on T2(crossfader panel)" use same card but not same way (internal)
    exemple:
    T2"master out 1,2,monitor 5,6"
    T1"master out 3,4,monitor 7,8
connecte line out3,4 on any IN to your soundcard
level up line in on T2 (crossfader panel)don t miss to drive you line in on T2 on the same way to use "IN"
assigne as you want your setup n let s the music take control hahahaha :D,use sample bank on t2 to mashine ,live any wave ,MP3,AIFF and use pads to mashine for that you can rec loop your 4 decks to T1 on T2

    :D

    use the tic for sync
    ---
    oups i missed,connect 1 other screen hahahaa

That is a GREAT idea! Will look into it! BUT, this means I would still have to us T1 and buy T2 just for the sample feature... not the best of preferences but thanks for your idea!
