    Specs:
    -Samsung Laptop
    -Win 7 (Home Basic)
-Amd A6-3430MX APU with Radeon HD 1.70 Hz
    -4.00 GB (3.48 GB availbale)
    -Tracktor Pro 2.6.1
    -Tracktor Kontrol S4

Problem: Load meter stays nearly always on red color.
Consequence: Bad music playback, bleeps, scratches, noises etc

As you can see I use a not so good laptop and for some reason the load meter is always on red, because of that I cant mix with my S4 normally, I have a gig coming up and I will hvae to use this PC, what can I do to lower my load until there is no bad music playback and random noise crashes.

Unfortunately, if your CPU is being overworked, I don't think latency mods are going to help you too much.

Following the link above may help with some regards to your CPU processor being overtaxed.

In addition to the recommendations in that link, I'd shut down any applications you have running while mixing. I'd run a virus scan and malware scan to ensure you don't have any processes running and taking up your CPU. I'm curious what type of music files you play. Are they compressed or lossless? If they're not WAV or AIFF, your CPU has to spend time converting the files to the raw PCM data to play it. If they're compressed, your CPU has to spend cycles uncompressing the files. So, I'd recommend given your CPU issues, even though it will take up more space...using WAV or AIFF files for your upcoming gig. Lastly, you may want to clear up space on your hard drive since you don't have "a lot" of RAM and likely have a sizable swap drive. If your swap drive isn't as big as the OS would like because there's no space, you're spending a lot of time doing I/O writing things to and from disk.

Without seeing more about your computer, I don't know what to offer other than running task manager while mixing, sorting the processes (not applications, but processes) by CPU and seeing what's at the top of the list. Don't automatically kill the process(es) at the top as they may be important to the OS, but do some research into what it is and if it's necessary to have running.

What sample rate are you using? Try 44.1 or 48 if you have it higher.

With mp3s, your CPU is working a bit harder. You can also look at the number of samples in the Latency configuration. The higher that number, the lower the load on your CPU, but it will increase the latency, perhaps to a level that's unacceptable.
