high tone suddenly appear

    I have this Komplete audio 6 usb soundcard which i am very happy with. when i plug my guitar through my amp into the soundcard i hear the tones as played and record what's played put when i plug my guitar into the soundcard through my multieffect pedal (without the amp) i hear the tones as played but when i record it in Cubase, a very high tone sudenly appear. it sounds kinda digital and it isn't there when i just play monitoring directly from the soundcard
