Would be cool if the keys on the piano roll lit up when a scale is activated.

    Example:

Yes, key/scales is what i mean. Like I can see within the piano roll, C Major as you have in the pic.

Lets eliminate the chord part. Basically that already exists via MIDI :)

Ghost notes would be great. I thought that may be asking for to much lol.

    +1 for this feature!
Could even be expanded by a button that lets you skip the notes that are not in the scale, when editing a note's pitch.

To. be able to hear notes/chords when you click on them would be great too. For correction purposes, I don’t draw notes in. It’s way faster to correct chords and notes when you can instantly hear them....as a jazz pianist I lay stuff down pretty fast, and if I make a bum note, Thinks, correct it in the edit.

Even GarageBand on iPad has this? Ableton has the option to preview the notes,,,why can’t NI implement this basic feature?
    All DAWs have it...

The upcoming V11 of Ableton has a feature that looks exactly like the mockup...

God yes, why has NI still not done this? Seems so basic.

Scales on the piano roll and the ability to hear the note when you move it are extremely small but useful things. The other thing would be to be able to see 2 patterns at the same time (ghost notes), but seeing requests from 2017 that never came true does not leave me much hope.

Not gonna lie. NI has not put enough dev time into the Maschine ecosystem and is getting lapped by up and coming competitors. They take so long to make modest advances it's fairly disheartening.

Has native instruments not added this feature?? After 3-4 years its not even cute how long Native Instruments lagged on this feature.

I totally agree with you. Every year I keep waiting for Maschine to add a KEY SCALE blueprint, Key Scale detector and nothing.

I almost want to give up entirely on MASCHINE and move on to a different composing software.

Presonus studio one has far greater KEY SCALE editor and much faster and bigger piano roll to look at.

    SMH Native Instruments.
I've invested over 3500.00 dollars since I began my music career.

I've got a lot more for my money with Presonus Studio ONE.

I would like to see improvements made to the piano roll when inputting midi manually, Ghost notes and scale highlighting would be a dream something similar to what FLStudio does

NI should talk to Presonus and license their piano scale because they really mastered the whole ghost notes. I just bought my Atom SQ that should really put Maschine to rest “RIP”
