    Hey Guys,

I recently started mixing with Traktor 2.6 and am some what new to DJing (apart from quite a bit of MixMeister experience). I would like to know if anyone out there who is avid in hip-hop mixing would be kind enough to share an effective technique for quickly mixing 3 tracks together. For example, what sounds really good sometimes is transitioning the current track with the next by cutting the current track to its instrumental and then mix in the next track. This technique would work flawlessly on 3 tables, but since Traktor is limited to 2, I wanted to know if there was some way to quickly bring in the next track by some how having it load on the deck at a certain point in the track (as opposed to the beginning of the track). Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated, even if what im asking for is not possible,

    Thanks :)

Why are you on 2.6? Traktor 3 solves the problem you're having since it has 4 decks.

Ah I was unaware. The main reason im using Traktor 2.6 is that I was able to get it to work with the MixMan DM2 USB controller. I will have to see if there is some way to get it working with version 3,

    Thanks for the heads up.

Tried using loops? Try looping up an instrumental section or a break and transitioning into your next track from the loop?
