Hiss From Loudspeakers with Audio DJ 2

    Hi All

    I just connected my laptop to my amp through the Audio DJ2 but I'm experiencing large volumes of hiss coming through the loudspeakers.

    When I run the laptop on battery the hiss goes away; the hiss is only there when running the laptop from the mains. ...any suggestions please?

    When I turn on Traktor the hiss gets considerably louder too

    I am planning on learning to dj using Traktor Pro 2..the hiss is off putting!

    Hey Steve,

    I almost didn't reply because I am not real knowledgable about technical audio issues but if the plug on the AC power adapter on your laptop has 3 prongs, you might want to try a little 3 prong to 2 prong adapter to see if that helps.
