So, I had a stag & doe to dj today.. spent a good week going through a good 5000 crappy tracks.. no problem...

Last night I spend most of my night going through my good tracks, fall asleep eventually deciding to just listen and finish in the morning. Virus scanner did its thing and rebooted (I know I can disable the reboot)..

I come to realize I'm missing a good 2.5 hours of my track list, which were the good ones.. No ratings that I rated, no comments..

But, in case of a crash, ignorance, or anything drastic, a great option would be real-time updating every time the history file changes, If this could only be done selectively to the updated listing It should be very quick. Is there a downside to this? every production software I have used uses this, or their own temp files..

Or, I may have missed something. It seems to be a real important feature in many programs.

Click on Traktor Collection and choose Save Collection.
This will save all your work and will save the History as a playlist in Archive which is in the 'Explorer Node'

I understand it can be done manually, but in the event of pulling the battery if necessary on a pc and a power outage, or system crash theres no time.. And if it happens 2-3hours through a set, I hope ur memory of all the tracks u played is better then theirs lol.. Plus many ppl update the comments and ratings as they go along.. I think it would be a great addition in file management to have a checkbox to autosave Traktor tag on change, always better to be safe than sorry..

Ive also done the shutdown without closing traktor first, same thing. Lost the changes made. Simple mistake, again would be user error (Was just checking what it would do really). As a producer I rely heavily on have a temp backup in case of emergencies, planning out an ableton/traktor set, if it crashes, you come back, lose your traktor stuff, but can restore the ableton session.. same with renoise, and Im sure reason..
