Hmm can't get Traktor pro to play

I have Traktor DJ Studio 3 which plays just fine... All audio settings are duplicated... and still I can load a track but play button will not work to start the song. I deleted Traktor Pro and started over again, same issue, also I got a new software package- returned the old one.. same issue.

10.5.8 OSX + Macbook Pro 2.93 processor... 8 gig of ram.

Any ideas anyone? Customer support is not available......makes me wonder why I paid for this program.

 

This happens to me from time to time. If you have the Audio DJ 4 or 8, this might help you.

What works for me is to unplug the Audio 8 USB Cord when the problem arises (Don't restart Traktor) and plug it back in. Weird that I need to, but it works.

Alternatively, keep the Audio 8 out of the Mac until you've booted up the Laptop and Traktor. You'll get a window telling you that you need to re-assign your outputs since the Audio 8 isn't in there. Plug it in and the window disappears.

Sounds like your Soundcard settings are incorrect. If a track loads but wont play check that you have selected the correct soundcard.
Are you mixing Externally or Internally.

Traktor Pro problem

I just installed Traktor Pro on my Computer (which has Vista) and i can get songs on it no problem like the other guys but when i press play it wont go i have no idea what a audio 8 USB cord is and im not that great with computers AND im also new to the whole DJ'n thing so if someone could help me that would be great.

 

Select your soundcard in the preferences.
