Thought I'd take a stab at making my own woodtrim for my maschine. Couldn't find anybody selling non elevated trim. Cost me about $16CND. I used Oak and a darker wood stain. loving the results. First Post btw. Hello everybody!

I wrote up a big paragraph explaining it all but it didn't get approved or something
I mounted the oak panels using double sided mounting tape. I had to use three layers of it though because the stuff I bought wasn't thick enough.
Im looking into it to see if its worth it for me to maybe start selling them. If there is enough interest on here for them. let me know.
Totally loving the look of my maschine now. Very glad that I went with the extra details with the notched out top. Making it look almost seamless. That's what I didn't like about the Jesse Dean side trim. Just a straight cut and the fact they only sell the elevated trim now. I thought it almost made the maschine look cheaper. The extra details made it worthy enough to be secured to something I paid almost 700$ for. Also why I went with the more expensive oak.
    Thanks for the love guys!

I would love to see these made using some exotic woods !

First I want to see is some tropical coconut wood trim ! Polished and glazed to a shine !

I wish someone living on an island like Hawaii, Malasia or Philippines will see this and start selling them on ebay !

Bring on the exotic woods !

How about a SUPER-ECO friendly version made from DRIFTWOOD !

    Possibilities are endless..

    TIP to OP:
Machine the edges of the Maschine trim and sand them to remove natural imperfections caused by the wood grain on your rounded edges.

    Excellent work dude !

This seems more cosmetic while the selling point for Jessie's version for me was the elevation.
The almost flat design of Maschine makes it arkward in many situations.

I have both my Maschine and APC40 elevated to the same angle.
