Horrible Download Speeds

    Come ON, people! Get a better server! I have a 100GB connection speed and have been waiting almost an hour for one NI module to D/L. Since I'm having to re-install the whole Komplete package, it'll be 6 months before I'm done.

    Might be your end. Try changing the dns for your pc to use google dns in place of your isp dns. I renistalled my komplete and third party stuff in one weekend from californiaon new hackintoshe. Seriously, try it if not already done.

    As is usually the case, 5 minutes after I posted this, the floodwaters broke through and the problem disappeared. Sort of like when you're looking all over the house for your glasses, and you find them on top of your head.

    But yeah, the cold peanut butter flowing through my DNS connection had been going on for about an hour.

    I've been getting the same thing for weeks.. Im trying on a MacBook Pro (Big Sur) and Windows 10. Just took 15 minuits of the waiting bar bouncing left to right to install Blocks Base... I've downloaded everything at normal speeds in the past but for the last month I've had this issue. I gave a gigabit connection to my house and everything else on my Mac and pc is totally fine.

    Ive tried turning off firewall and any other security and antivirus I can find and nothing works

    Did you try changing the dns for your pc to either google or cloudflare?

    I am in Europe, which can make difference, but no real problems with NI downloads during past years. They are pretty fast.
    The only exception was the day (and few days on) Komplete 13 has been released. The servers were rather overloaded as K13U CE users had to download about 100 GB even if they had installation disc. So, the download load must have been enormous.
    I have just tried and I get aprox 60 Mbit/s download speed. 1 GB of data might take about 3 minutes. No big deal for few plugins. The whole K13U CE would take more than a day, if one does not have the installation media....
    Would be nice if NA could download in several threads for bulk downloads in case NI servers are not overloaded.....
