I have been using Battery since Version 1 and have upgraded each time. What I like about is is that you can use it within a host and map its ADSR params to Maschine and the MPC Ren's knobs.

But the issue I have is that I quickly run out of Maschine/Ren knobs as each Cell needs a knob for each ADSR param. So if I have 16 Cells, it would take up to 64 knobs to map ADSR params.

What I would like to see is a sort of global assignment of params that would only impact the currently selected cell. I would like to map Battery's ADSR param to only 4 knobs in Maschine or the MPC Ren. Then the knobs will control the currently selected Battery Cell. This would allow end users to strike a pad on Maschine/Ren that would select a Battery Cell. Use 4 knobs on these controllers to adjust ADSR. Then strike another pad on these controllers which would select another Battery Cell and the same 4 knobs would adjust the ADSR params of the currently selected Cell only.

Same here, please make the parameters mappable in a way a mapping always affects the cell in focus. Would make much more sense to me.

Actually, after thinking about this a little, maybe it's just not possible. Automation within a sequencer of course has to be on a per cell basis. So the mapping to a hardware control for performance would have to be split from 'normal' automation. Don't know if that's possible at all. Oh well..
