Ok D-One then i gave up.
Do you really mean i should have checked dates of the web pages when they updated?
(I dont even know where to look at if a web page is updated recently or not)

WHERE IS NI SAYING NI DROPPED EL CAP SUPPORT BEFORE THIS UPDATE
    WHERE?

Do you remember NI announces 10.11 drop support before this update? please answer this honestly. I always check compatibility, i dont remember any 10.11 drop support untill now.

No, that's not what I have said at all. Maybe you're too angry to read what I said carefully, there no edit date, I was suggesting there should be one in case of articles not being promptly updated.

    AFAIK NOWHERE! :p
There's a high chance that there is a mistake here.(99.99%) Either 10.11 is indeed supported or it's not and someone forgot to communicate it. Mick already said he was going to check whats going on, there's no point in demanding a quote that doesn't exist to prove a point that might not even be true...

Save your rage and use it if support is really confirmed to be dropped, you might be causing yourself a headache for no reason.

I am not talking about these^ but i cant express myself to nobody. Except Kaldosh ..

    ..
And me too think 10.11 is still supported. And announcement is mistake.

Or NI forgot to tell us which OS they drop..

(Yet still i consider that a warning sign for me to upgrade)

All good. Don't worry I understand the frustration, I don't have these issues since I use a desktop Hackintosh but I feel this pain with iPhones, been using them since iPhone 3 but im tired of being forced to buy a new one because OS makes them slow and on the next upgrade ill probably move on to Samsung.

Even if support drops it should still work for a while like when 10.10 was dropped, so you will probably have some time to consider options, but the clock is ticking.

Not sure if your serious or joking but if you're serious make sure you do extensive research before you invest in that 2008 desktop Mac, officially the most recent OSX you can run on that is El Capitan. Using tricks to bypass the update restriction to an OS made 10 years later might cause issues.

That was obviously a joke. I could max up a 2012 27'' Imac would be my most affordable bet with best results and durability I think... Imac 5.1 is too expensive for me and I won't invest in a PC except maybe for a daily use cheap laptop..

Maxing it out will do absolutely no difference in this context. (Even if you upgrade your CPU OS upgradeability is capped by manufacturing year, not by performance. Upgrading from i5 to i7 might give a access to the next release if you're lucky)
Next year a new "modular" Mac Pro will be released and the trashcan will probably drop enough in price in the used market where it can actually be a fair investment.

True but I doubt it will drop by 50% when you see how high the price from 2010 mac Pro are. Anyway for all those maschine stated above, there is a workaround for a stable use on high Sierra. Yes I am following the news about the new mac Pro and makes me dream of what I could have in 10/15 years . Should play the lottery I might have a chance to get that before. Even somehow I am pretty sure I could achieve better performance with a 400 bucks hackintosh .

EHEHEH Well... maybe not with 400$ but with around 1k you can make a beast of a Hackintosh that CPU wise can get close to a current iMac Pro. If you ever decide to go that route PM me and i'll help in case you need.

Good to know, thank you. Already did my budget on this and wouldn't go higher than 900 but I am so used to stability now. The Imac I work on is old but it is incredibly stable. My souvenirs on PC are constantly tweeking, optimising something. Just have to convince myself it has evolved a lot and is much better now. I see a lot of people from audio and video editing going to hackintosh or switching back to Windows...Not the priority right now anyway, i must change country in 3 month. Lots of work, new job, new house, new problems ....then will come the upgrade I hope

So I just dove into this to find out exactly what’s going on, and:

We only fully test the software on the latest two versions of MacOS, which are 10.12 and 10.13. That’s the reason why 10.11 isn’t listed as a supported OS anymore. 10.11 was dropped with version 2.7.3 of the Maschine software, but you can still use the software on that OS. There is a vey small chance you will run into bugs on 10.11 that aren’t present in 10.12 and 10.13.

If that is the case, That OS drop hasnt been mentioned with the updates 2.7.3, 2.7.4 or 2.7.5.
Native Instruments never announced that until this last 2.7.6. hotfix..
Anyways obviously nobody cares that but me, so ill shut up.
But at least you may consider correcting compatibility charts etc in NI site, so you can act like that never happened.

Also a 2010 PC but never upgraded to Win10, it looks more like a sales catalog than an operating system. I have a virtual maschine running Win10 and made a large powershell script to remove all **** but it keeps coming back every time it installs a new version of itself. It might have some upgrades under the hood compared to 7 but everything visible is awefull. My next os version is probably going to be Server 2016, comparable with 10 but without the crap.

Ultimately with Win7 the latest apps, drivers, hardware and updates are going to be more and more incompatible as times goes by.

Would not recommend an OS optimized as a server esp if you are running desktop apps such as DAW.

The latest Win10 is really well optimized and yes you can uninstall all the crap you don't need through a few Powershell scripts. I loved Win7 but I would never ever go back. I have always fined tuned my OS's regardless (it only takes me 20 mins to do it now) and have been extremely cautious when I upgrade (usually wait at least 6-12 months after a release).

How the heck can you run music software under a virtual machine btw? The latency must suck!
