How about a sub-forum "making music with Reaktor"

I was just thinking that it would be more inviting to talk about actually making music/sound production with Reaktor if it had a separat sub-forum. The general forum is more into how to use it - in general ;-) but not in a musical context, using a specific ensemble.

Threads could be like how to use a special ensemble?, how to create a special sound, what ensembles to use or combine? Which ensemble to make that IDM glitch or whatever...

We have a sub-forum how to build ensembles but not how to use them....

What do you think!?

The sub-forum should be done ages ago... I bet people have got a lot to say, but have no (right) place to post it.

 

i felt there should be a dedicated space for using reaktor live, but we saw how fast that burned.

Assuming that people actually discuss making music in that forum(unlike they do here), then it's a great idea.

Hey this is a great idea. Something I've always wodered about - why no one discusses how they USE Reaktor. You have to go to Reaktions.com to find out the result ... but what about the process?

i do think that is a wonderful idea...it would be very nice to actually hear what you people talk about...i have gone on several occasions to the reacktions site and have enjoyed that...this might bring it a little nearer...good luck with your request to ni...

From the novice to the pro (and everyone in between), I find the way people make music to always be an enlightening experience. I think in Reaktor's case it will be even more so. Great idea ;-)

 

Just wanted to add my name to the list -- I think it's a great idea. Reaktor can be a cryptic beast, and I would benefit from reading about real world applications of it...
