Here is the problem : I would like to ne able to check the result of an operation in Reaktor, like I do in PureData with the atom boxes. I found the display value module but sometimes it works, often with crazy results, and more often it displays a red cross on its input...

Some thing as simple than checking the result of an additionn line 2+2 (wich should give 4 as a result, at least here in France...).

It's all there in the manual.

The red cross means that you are trying to feed the numeric readout with a polyphonic signal (the numeric readout is necessarily monophonic).
Either change the module that feeds the numeric readout to mono (in right click menu), or use a voice combiner module - choose the one that makes the most sense for your application.

Thx, those ideas of polyphonic signal isn't very intuitive for me, I understand what it is but sometimes it's not that easy to know that what arrives into [numeric readout] is poly or mono. No manual for that.

Read page 254 of the application reference. It explains it very clearly and simply and tells you exactly what to do to fix your problem.

Then when you've read that page, do yourself a big favour and read all the other pages, then the modules and macros reference and the core reference :)
Not only will you learn all the basic functionality, you will get loads of ideas about how you might use some of the features that you didn't even know existed !

English isn't my mother language and this document doesn't exist in french, so it's really a hard time sometimes...

I was looking for information on some modules behavior, more xtended than the info provided on the module itself but didn't find anything.
