I think Im missing something obvious. I cant see how to audition sounds in FM8 without using the cursor keys and then having to press enter as I go down a list. Is there a simpler one key method that can be used to go through the sounds one by one ?

Im using v1.4 in Logic Pro. If I use it standalone I can just up and down the cursor keys

You can click the down/up arrows instead of using the keyboard.

    It's enough for myself.

Another option (which also works for other NI products) is to use a macro utility. I use Keyboard Maestro on a Mac, but others will probably work as well. I set up 2 of my function keys so that one triggers a script to press "down arrow', then "return"- the other triggers a script to press "up arrow', then "return". Then, if a FM8 patch is selected in the browser, pressing one of those function keys loads the next one above it or below it. Hope this helps.
