    Hi all,

I'm new to this forum, hello!
Wondering if there's a way to remove preview samples from my library that I do not actually own and can't actually use. The Battery instrument and associated samples display in Kontakt and Maschine, but since I do not own Battery, I can't actually use these samples. When I attempt to use them, I get an error message: Battery could not be loaded. Presumably because I don't own it, and it does not appear in my Native Access, so I assume that Battery components showing up in my library may be a part of Previews.
It's frustrating to browse samples and find one I want to use, only to discover I can't because I don't own Battery.

You can try deleting the presets and then rescanning (I have not tried this, so this is theory only)…to find where the presets reside, right click a preset and clic “Find in Explorer/Finder”. Because these are “Factory” Presets, you cannot delete from within Maschine like you can with user presets…

Well, digging into this a little further... it's true that I never purchased Battery as a standalone, but it looks like I do own products like Deep Matter and Soul Magic, which appear to contain Battery components. So, assuming that I do not own these Battery kits may have been premature - but I'm still getting the "Battery could not be loaded" error when I try to open a lot of kits that appear in my Maschine menu.
Will research that error messaging. In the meantime, any other suggestions welcome!

The expansions contain Battery Kits, Maschine Kits, presets and Samples and Loops. So if you purchased an expansion, you do own the Battery Kits, but because you don’t own Battery (a separate standalone app/plugin), you cannot use them. And to note, 99% of the Battery kits included in expansions are also Maschine kits using the same samples (the kits may vary slightly, but for the must part are the same). Here is a link to the Battery product page that explains what Battery is and does.

what you are seeing in “All Groups” are the Maschine kits version of the Battery kits like I explained above!
