Sometimes 2 tracks at the same tempo, drift out. I heard you can warp those tracks with ableton live and then you can use them in traktor, is that true?

its prety normal for drift on time code just like vynil and cdjs

a good song from a trusted site will work better than one from a free sharring site.

i mainly use remixes from manny djs they work well.

@chilly I don't know if you ever tried ableton live, if yes you'll know what I mean. If not: in ableton you can set a master tempo and then you can warp a track with different tempo setting markers in the right place and then the track matches with the master tempo. Ableton generates a file (.asd) and I haerd you can use it in ableton. Probably I'm wrong but I'd like someone say what's true or false

yes you can fix w/ ableton or sony acid

but youll have to fix every beat of song to get 100 percent
    accuracy

Yeah, I've been using Ableton since 5.0...

I think what you wanted to say was that you 'heard you can use it in Traktor'. You can...just not the .asd file. You have to render the song after you apply the warping...then you can use it.

Thank you both (chilly and dj mutley) but how I can render the file when I get the asd file? Thanks in advance.

warp your track in ableton and then export the master of the track as wav or mp3 to your harddisk and load that track in traktor and you have a track that has no bpm drift.

Nevermind, I tried to warp, export them in ableton and it doesn't work properly. I'll try to find another way. Many thanks to all you guys!

If you have a track where the tempo changes at a drop... say by .007 BPM, can you set a new grid marker there to change the bpm and grid spacing?

I just purchased some classic Nervous tracks from Traxsource and they are ALL OVER THE PLACE.
