    Hi guys,
I'm working through some tutorials. I created an ensemble that was a combination of several synths and effects, etc. I then saved the snapshot. What I'm wondering now though is how do I see my snapshots for full ensembles? I need to know how to see them both in Reaktor and when using Reaktor in Komplete Kontrol. I don't see them in my user presets like I do other synths, etc. Thanks!

are you talking about Komplete Kontrol User Presets?

these are not the same as Reaktor 'Snapshots'.

when you created and saved a Snapshot for your Ensemble, did you save the Ensemble?

btw, you can select a Reaktor 'Snapshot' and then save that as a Komplete Kontrol Preset.

Thanks for your reply. I am using Reaktor 6. I create what I think is called an "ensemble" in Reaktor stringing together a sequencer, a synth, and a delay unit. I now want to save this whole thing in a way that I can easily access it in either Reaktor 6 as a standalone, or when using it as a VST in Komplete Kontrol. I am kompletely (ha) lost on how to achieve what seems like should be a simple thing....

I am not finding any sort of consistency in getting this to work. I saved the ensemble in my User folder, but then saw that within Reaktor, it is actually searching Reaktor 6->Ensemble for the User ensembles. So I saved the ensemble there and now it shows up in Reaktor 6 standalone, and as a standalone VST, but when I open it in Komplete Kontrol, I can find the ensemble but some of the settings are not correct. For example I'm using the Spiral Sequencer, and the Tilt and Wrap knobs are not set to the correct place when pulling up the preset in Komplete Kontrol, but they are correct when in standalone....

i don't understand 'and as a standalone VST'

could you provide screenshots [;ease showing the different knob positions.

fyi, if you load the Reaktor Ensemble from the Komplete Kontrol 'File' menu, it should look the same as if you loaded it into Reaktor 6.

"i don't understand 'and as a standalone VST'"
As a standalone "Reaktor 6" VST instead of opening the "Komplete Kontrol" VST and then opening Reaktor 6 within it.

I don't feel uploading a screenshot to show two different knobs. In the Reaktor 6 VST, the knobs are one value, in the Komplete Kontrol VST, the knobs are a completely different value.

    I'm seeing this article:
    https://www.native-instruments.com/...-reaktor-user-ensembles-for-komplete-kontrol/

Are these seriously all the steps a person needs to go through to see their Reaktor Ensembles within Komplete Kontrol? If so, that is absolutely insane.

EDIT: I found one way to get the proper settings-if I open the View->Edit View and then navigate to the User Ensemble within the Reaktor 6 part of Komplete Kontrol, then I get to the correct settings. So the disconnect is somewhere with the User Library tht is showing up in the Komplete Kontrol part and the User Library tht shows up in the Reaktor 6.

well could you upload the Reaktor Ensemble, so i can test it. i have not noticed the same error as you point out. it looks to me like you might be loading two separately saved versions of the same Ensemble.

I think you are right there are two different versions. One thing I'm seeing is that the Komplete Kontrol menu is showing all the snapshots that were with the ensemble-including all the old factory ones. So it has cluttered up the Komplete Kontrol User Library munu. But in the Reaktor User Library, it just shows the one Ensemble.

EDIT: OK, I think i figured it out. Part of the problem was I wasn't using a new ensemble when I created the ensemble in Reaktor, so it was carrying over all the other snapshots. I just created the ensemble again from scratch from a new ensemble and then just saved the single snapshot. I was then able to see the snapshot within the Reaktor portion of Komplete Kontrol, but still not in the Komplete Kontrol browser. Then I followed all those steps in the article I linked above and now the snapshot shows up in Komplete Kontrol....
...I have that say that is a really frustrating and time consuming process to do what is essentially just trying to save a preset!
