    Hello,

I'm a newbie, using the 80's solo preset as an example, how would I get the equivalent of an overdrive pedal effect, so my solo's sound more responsive to legato etc?

    Here is my layout:

If you want overdrive, just increase the amp gain (the "pre-amp" knob) or use a Tube Skreamer. That should get you the sound you want. You can also use a Gain Booster to get that tone. If you're trying to get the amp to be more responsive to your picking dynamics, click the little down arrow on the far right on the amp head. You'll see a drop down menu with more small knobs. Click the one labelled "response" and turn it to increase the response. If you're trying to add an effect like an overdrive or distortion, just go to the Components tab and you'll find everything there. Hope this helps! If not, let me know what problems you still have and I'll do my best to help :)
