    release to sero.jpg

you go to that tab type set type to adsr if notalready set then you click on the orange outline around the release knob (1)
press E or click the pencil tool (2) then paint that release is set to sero before the last note(s) play, maybe if you record it does not look exactly like on my picture but it dont has to it will work if you reach sero before the last notes play!!
you can record automation from hardware by holding down the auto button and turn the corresponding knob but in this case this maybe is not precise enough

When using samples and you have (choke) enabled, , just use a "ghost note" at the beginning of the next pattern and set the volume of the note (velocity) to zero or almost zero. In my case sometimes if I set the ghost note volume all the way down to zero I still get the sound...depending where I place the note on the roll. Strange...it could be a bug of the software.

Usually, I just turn on ADSR to have full control of exactly where each sample stops playing, for programming it does the trick and often sparks new ideas but for finger drumming or something that specifically requires longer samples to play until the end other methods like the ones Uwe or Silva mentioned are required.
