I recently built a new Windows 11 PC and I'm moving my Native Instruments content the new system. The issue is that I already have my Native Instruments audio samples--37GB worth--installed on an external USB SSD. How do I install my Native Instruments onto my new system without re-downloading 37GB worth of samples?

I installed Native Access onto my new PC and set the Content Location to point at the existing samples, however when I then installed my first instrument (Analog Dreams/3.1GB), it appeared to download all 3.1GB (I base this upon how long it took to download), then installed without appearing to overwrite any of the existing samples. Is that what indeed happened? Data usage is precious and I need to know. Thanks!

    Hello,

if you go to the "not installed" tab, and you hover with the mouse over a libary, there should be a locate sign.
Then you can point to the directory where the libary is located but it does not work for expansions afaik.

Please help, it's related to the original question.

I am reinstalling my plugins. The library does not need reinstalling, but everytime I click the "INSTALL ALL" button below it seems to start download everything (what looks like the library and the plugin).

But when I hover over any not installed plugin in the list, and click on the "LOCATE" button it correctly identifies the content and installs only the plugin.

How can I simply click "INSTALL ALL" and avoid having to individually locate -> install 100+ plugins?

I simply need the "LOCATE ALL" option.

Thanks in advance for your help in resolving this.

Don't expect any help on your issue because the software clearly was not created to resolve this in any way. Native Access is what it is,a very mediocre, low quality product despite being out for many yrs without being updated. Even though they created a closed beta, only a select few who kiss up to NI got access even if you paid hundreds/or thousands for NI products(I myself thought they had updated it by now since I hadn't used NA for many yrs til upgrading recently, only to find out afterwards that I have to spend several dozen hrs installing each vst 1 by 1 manually & on each Pc,also you have to keep track of what vsts you already installed so you don't reinstall them over & over again if you get up from your pc in between the installations,& whatever you do don't try to hit install from inside NA or it will keep redownloadong everything every time you hit reinstall. Your best bet is to just install every product manually from outside NA)

(ps mods, this isn't in any way stoking division as you claim about anyone truthfully reviewing your product, its informing yet another rightfully frustrated user of the obvious as a way to help him not waste his time expecting something from your product that it cannot do)

It's not like we didn't post about the beta everywhere asking for folks if they wanted to join.

You come on this community once every 6 weeks to vent about Native Access and just use posts as an opportunity to do so. Your private report indicating we are a "trash company" and our products are "garbage" is yet another example of your toxic behaviour. You've accumulated a few bans and warning points along the years. This one is permanent.

Hello and sorry for the late answer, don't use the "install al" button, install all programs, or better, go first to the not installed tab, then hover over the products and use the locate function one by one. After this you can install the rest, but before set the correct folder for content. I know it's a bit time consuming but hopefully there will be a better way in the future. For example, i have bought a update with a drive in the past, that makes those things easier.

Thanks, yes that's what I meant. I've over a 100 products in the list, so it is a bit annoying to have to do them individually. Anyway cheers, noted.
