How do I map multiple outputs of Abbey Road Drums to additional outputs of Kontact

Hi All! I've recently purchased Abbey Road Modern Drummer, and am trying to get going. I want to route the overheads and room mics to additional outputs of Kontact, so I can have them on separate tracks in my mix. I can't seem to find a place to assign the different Mixer inputs to the AUX1, AUX 2 and AUX 3 outputs. Is there a way to actually do this? I'm using the Kontact Player. Thanks in advance!

 

Hello vassaux and welcome to the forum.

The AUX mixer outputs are not used for that. You will need to add more channels to the Kontakt Output section (Mixer), route those Modern Drummer mics to those added Mixer channels and connect them to channels on your DAW host track (which DAW are you using).

Have a look in the Kontakt Reference manual 14.1/2.

You can also save the Kontakt Mixer set-ups as presets for later use and set one to be the default.

 

There really should be a sticky with this routing info.

I did not see it in the manual, but I'll look again, just for you. I'm using Reaper, just switched from Sonar X3.
