    Hi,

i'm currntly trying to move the Massive 1.5.8 library - currently at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Native Instruments\Massive to a new location (D:\ProgramData\NativeInstruments\Massive) but it does not work as described in the NI knowledge base at

    https://support.native-instruments....Product-to-Another-Location-on-Your-Computer-

As soon as I move the folder, I can't start Massive, but the "repair" option in Native Access does not show up, only "reinstall".

I also tried a reinstall, but Massive seems to ignore the content location preferences of Native Access and installs everything to the folder at C:..

So... How can I move this folder?

As the Massive content is just presets, not entire sample libraries like for Kontakt or Battery, it doesn't take up anywhere near as much space, hence not being able to re-locate it like the sample based content libraries

if it were me, i would physically move the files to the new location, and then open up regedit and make the registry changes there, then reboot.

Yeah I want to do the same thing, I tried to copy the folders to my content drive and then add them in manually in the Massive software, this worked fine, but I am not able to delete the default location, the delete button simply does nothing.

Another problem I found by accident is there seems to have been some changes to the presets in Massive at some point and can't find any information about this anywhere. There used to be a preset called "Circuit Clav" which is now missing from the Komplete content, which is a concern, if NI are removing presets from the content between updates, this could drastically change sounds and mixes, specifically in Maschine as presets no longer exist, you will open a project only to get messages about missing files etc ...
