How do I select individual note/event on Mikro mk2 controller?

I know how to select a "row" or all of the events but I have yet to figure out how to select a single event for nudging. I'm using mainly the Step Mode for plotting down beats and it would be very helpful if I could select individual notes in a pattern for minimal nudging.

EDIT: I know that the note is being selected when it is created so basically I could always delete and re-create a note to get it selected but this is obviously a very bad work around for those rare live recorded notes that "just miss" the groove a tiny bit but are otherwise in the perfect spot.. so having the ability to truly select an individual note without killing it would be awesome.

    Cheers!

I'm fairly new to Maschine but I have a Mikro Mk2. I'm on the road and currently don't have my Maschine, but if you Right click on a single note (event) it will highlight just that single event, and then you can nudge it from there. I will mess around with the actual controller when I get home to see if there is a way to do it on the hardware cuz I'm pretty sure there is. (I like to do as much on the Hardware as possible as I find it much more rewarding and fun than having to use the computer, or mouse.). Some things however are just better using a mouse, i.e. chopping a sample.

    Hello bmanic,
did you finally found the way to select notes of the step sequencer from the hardware controller (maschine mikro mkII)?

like you, when i select with the mouse all works : i can modify pitch by +/-1 octave or by semiton.
,but when i select a step from the controller i have to delete the note and to recreate it to select the step (the last step played).
And when i use the "Select" key i only can select all notes of the pattern for a sound ... It 's not clear...

Unfortunately this is still not fixed. It is literally impossible to select a single note in Maschine Mikro mk2 on the hardware. It is such a stupid omission. One would think you could simply hold it down, or use the select button while in step mode.. but no.

Things like these is why I don't buy any NI stuff any more. There's just no detailed thought going into their stuff.
