    Hello,
I want to pass sounds from my hardware synth into Reaktors grainstate ensemble while playing live.
I use cubase vst an have a hardware mixer and 2 in 2 out delta audio card.

How can I set this up?

Is it somthing to do with external audio input?
But these are live sounds from a external hardware synth which I want to pass through.

    Regards

    Wrong ensemble

Regular Graincloud module that grainstates is based has no input. Look in the effects folder for reaktor you will see an fx ensemble called Grainstates FX. This is based on graincloud delay module which does have an audio input. In cubase load reaktor FX on an audio channel you are monitoring. Then load Grainstates FX. Connect your analog synth to the inputs you are monitoring on that audio channel. It won't sound exactly the same, but its basically the same messed up squashed out granular trip fest. Enjoy.

    Good luck

DMANX are you using Cubase VST or Cubase SX? Because you can't do that in VST as far as I remember. If you're using VST, then you'll have to use Reaktor standalone to do what you're looking for.
