How does the S2 Shift / Sample-Mode work?

    Hello everyone,

    I just have a quick question about the S2:

    How does the Shift-function work? Is is a Hardware-Shift or just a modifier in Traktor?
    And: If it is hardware, does it shift the whole controller or just the corresponding side? is it possible to achieve 3 controls over one button like this (normal, with left shift, with right shift)?

    And: Is the button for switching in Sample mode also a shift-button or just a control for traktor (modifier) ?

    The Shift button is just a modifier in the controller mapping; the only 'hardware shift' would be switching into MIDI mode.
    You can probably combine both shifts with modifiers if you make a custom mapping but there is no such feature in the default mapping.
